1 ‘ 1(1) Subject to the following provisions of this section , any person liable in respect of any damage suffered by another person may recover contribution from any other person liable in respect of the same damage ( whether jointly with him or otherwise ) . …
2 " Associated operations " is defined for the purposes of s739 ( and s740 ) in s742(1) and means , in relation to any transfer , an operation of any kind effected by any person in relation to any of the assets transferred or any assets representing , whether directly or indirectly , any of the assets transferred , or to the income arising from any such assets , or to any assets representing , whether directly or indirectly , the accumulations of income arising from any such assets .
3 ( 4 ) Where a lessor is proceeding by action or otherwise to enforce a right of re-entry or forfeiture under any covenant , proviso , or stipulation in a lease , or for non-payment of rent , the court may , on application by any person claiming as an under-lessee any estate or interest in the property comprised in the lease or any part thereof , either in the lessor 's action ( if any ) or in any action brought by such person for that purpose , make an order vesting , for the whole term of the lease or any less term , the property comprised in the lease , or any part thereof in any person entitled as under-lessee to any estate or interest in such property upon such conditions as to execution of any deed or other document , payment of rent , costs , expenses , damages , compensation , giving security , or otherwise , as the court in the circumstances of each case may think fit , but in no case shall any such under-lessee be entitled to require a lease to be granted to him for any longer term than he had his original sub-lease .
4 ‘ ( 1 ) A person shall not be excused , by reason that to do so may incriminate that person or the wife or husband of that person of an offence under this Act — ( a ) from answering any question put to that person in proceedings for the recovery or administration of any property , for the execution of any trust or for an account of any property or dealings with property ; or ( b ) from complying with any order made in any such proceedings ; but no statement or admission made by a person in answering a question put or complying with an order made as aforesaid shall , in proceedings for an offence under this Act , be admissible in evidence against that person or ( unless they married after the making of the statement or admission ) against the wife or husband of that person .

8 Any duty imposed on any person by any of the preceding provisions of this Article shall extend only to things done in the course of a trade , business or other undertaking carried on by him ( whether for profit or not ) and to matters within his control . ’
9 11.3 No immaterial error omission or misstatement in this agreement or in any plan of the Site or the Premises referred to in this agreement or in any statement made by any person prior to the making of this agreement shall in any way affect the obligations of the parties under this agreement or entitle any party to damages or compensation
10 ( 2 ) Any officer , servant or agent of the Bank may , on producing if required evidence of his authority , enter any premises occupied by any person on whom a notice could be served under section 39 above for the purpose of obtaining there such information or documents as are specified in the authority , being information or documents that could have been required by such a notice ; but the Bank shall not authorise any person to act under this subsection unless it has reasonable cause to believe that if such a notice were served it would not be complied with or that any documents to which it would relate would be removed , tampered with or destroyed .
