8 In this case the clause provided that " the customer shall not be entitled to withhold payment of any amount due to the company under the contract by reason of any payment credit set-off or counterclaim " .
9 15.2 Save as provided in clause 3 the Tenant shall not be entitled to occupation or possession of the Premises until the Lease is completed This clause should be deleted — see note to clause 3.5 , though the suggested amendment to clause 3.5 , if accepted , should be a satisfactory compromise .

11 ( 4 ) It is hereby declared that a person shall not be entitled to rely on the defence provided by subsection ( 1 ) above by reason of his reliance on information supplied by another , unless he shows that it was reasonable in all the circumstances for him to have relied on the information , having regard in particular ( a ) to the steps which he took , and those which might reasonably have been taken , for the purpose of verifying the information ; and ( b ) to whether he had any reason to disbelieve the information .
